i cant do it
Jan 24 2008, 1:24 AM EST
i did exactly what you are telling me to do. when i did it, i saved it to my desktop, then when i clicked on it, command prompt comes up, but instead of doing the command, it looks as if its executing that command over and over again, like really, really fast. when i click the "x" (its not full screen) the window goes away as if nothing ever happend. the thread that i put just a couple of days ago saying how you can log off your computer by writing a batch file. it dosn't work any more. is there something that im doing wrong? or somthing that i need to do?

i tried the shutdown error example that Custurd gave, and, the one about logging off that I actually posted (a friend of mine "moved" it instead of "copying" it on his flash drive. so i had to do another one). i got some other batchfiles from a couple of my friends. one of them were "shutdown -l -c "LOGED OFF!!!"" this one works perfectly
