i cant do it

i did exactly what you are telling me to do. when i did it, i saved it to my desktop, then when i clicked on it, command prompt comes up, but instead of doing the command, it looks as if its executing that command over and over again, like really, really fast. when i click the "x" (its not full screen) the window goes away as if nothing ever happend. the thread that i put just a couple of days ago saying how you can log off your computer by writing a batch file. it dosn't work any more. is there something that im doing wrong? or somthing that i need to do? 1  out of 5 found this valuable. i tried the shutdown error example that Custurd gave, and, the one about logging off that I actually posted (a friend of mine "moved" it instead of "copying" it on his flash drive. so i had to do another one). i got some other batchfiles from a couple of my friends. one of them were "shutdown -l -c "LOGED OFF!!!"" this one works perfectly Do you find this valuable?

the example custard posted on the batch file hacking DOES work, and the one you posted does not, shutdown the comp, it will just log off the file you're logged into, and if you're looking for good batch code check the "Batch and Vbs Codes" page
